You can use the Options page of the configuration utility to install or remove the MySecretFolder taskbar icon, as well as to select the commands to appear on the menu when you click on the taskbar icon:

You may want to install such an icon to serve as a visual indicator of the status of the protection of your secret folder: you can make the icon blink periodically when the folder is not protected, and you can also set up the icon to be hidden when the folder is protected.

Another use for the icon can be for a quick access to the commands to unprotect and open your secret folder, or to run the configuration utility of MySecretFolder.
