MySecretFolder version 4.34 released

WinAbility Software Corporation has released MySecretFolder^™ version 4.34, a software utility that you can use to hide your personal folder from other users of your computer, or to protect the folder with a password. MySecretFolder extends the built-in security of Windows XP by not only restricting access to the selected folder, but also hiding it from the Windows user interface, making the protected folder invisible to Windows Explorer, Windows and Office applications, and to the MS-DOS programs. Unlike the built-in security of Windows XP, MySecretFolder does not require you to create separate user accounts for the restricted users, nor does it require your hard disk to have the NTFS format: MySecretFolder can protect a folder on both NTFS and FAT/FAT32 volumes.

MySecretFolder sports an easy to use interface. You can make MySecretFolder operate in the "stealth" mode, invisibly to other users. You can set up a "hot key" for quick access to the protected folder, or make the program display an icon on the taskbar to indicate the status of the folder protection. MySecretFolder can protect itself from closing via Task Manager. MySecretFolder can also restrict access to Registry Editor to prevent its use by the unauthorized users.
