HostName Commander version 1.0 released

WinAbility Software Corporation has released HostName Commander version 1.0, a software utility that helps you manage the relationships between the host names and the IP addresses of the computers. HostName Commander lets you associate any host name with a specific IP address of your choice, which you can use to block access to the unwanted web sites, stop displaying the third-party advertisements while browsing the Internet, speed up the web browsing, and more.

Web designers will find it convenient to use HostName Commander to quickly switch between the test and production web servers while developing complex web sites. HostName Commander offers the option to automatically clean up the web browser chache for the web sites for which the host name to IP address associations have changed, eliminating the need to do the cleanup manually.

HostName Commander sports a convenient and intuitive user interface with full support for the basic operations with the host names. The host name information is displayed as a straightforward tree-like structure, showing the IP addresses and the host names mapped to them.
