Permissions dialog box: Drives page

Use this page to control the permissions to see and browse the drives your computer has:

Allow browsing

If you revoke a permission to browse a drive, then the following restrictions will take effect:

The icon of the restricted drive is removed from the My Computer folder, from Windows Explorer, and from the standard Open/Save As dialog boxes. The user is also restricted from browsing the contents of the restricted drive. However, this setting does not prevent users from using other programs to access the drive or its contents. And, it does not prevent users from using the Disk Management snap-in to view and change drive characteristics.
